The stadium-size Sports Center at Chelsea Piers is equal parts playground and athlete's escape, with a regulation-size boxing ring, a sand volleyball court, a quarter-mile indoor track, a rock-climbing wall, three basketball courts, a sports-drills center, and a 25-yard indoor swimming pool. Not to mention a 14,000-square-foot weight-lifting deck. There's a full group fitness schedule, and members can sign up for triathlon-training clinics or meet with sports-specific trainers.
