Send a Love Note to Your Body on Twitter

Join our body confidence campaign this Valentine's Day!

On Valentine's Day, you shower your favorite people with flowers, candy and words of affection, but why not express a little love for yourself too? You deserve it for getting your butt to the gym (even when you'd really rather just sit on it). For the many miles you put on your feet -- and not always in comfy shoes! For letting mostly healthy foods (hello, low-fat yogurt; buh-bye, cupcake) pass your lips. For the energy and discipline your mind brings to your diet and fitness goals.

That's why we invite you to join our body-confidence campaign this V Day. Show the love to your kickboxing thighs, your toddler-toting arms or your salsa-dancing hips. Send a love note to your body on Twitter -- just start with the tag #iheartmy. Here's mine:

FITNESSBetty #iheartmy legs for carrying me out the door, over obstacles and across finish lines.

Our goal: one million messages of love and pride by the end of February. Be sure to start with #iheartmy because that's how we'll find your sweet tweet. You'll be able to read all the body Valentines on this page throughout the month. Also, while you're at it, follow us at twitter.com/fitnessmagazine to get daily exercises, meal ideas and healthy advice. Now go spread the love!
