Using this method to find targeted HR has been proven to be false. It doesn't take into consideration genetics or current fitness levels. For some people this range is to high while others it is to low. It is better to go by RPE and lactate threshold. You can not train your heat rate but you can train your lactate threshold level. Please do not do your readers a disservice by repeating myths as facts. Train SMARTER NOT HARDER!!!
