4 Calorie-Conscious Holiday Cocktails

We found a little something that may make our waistlines a smidge happier this season (hint: sparkling water) and something that will spice up your festive drinks! Meet your new favorite guilt-free holiday cocktails. The first comes from Cascade Ice, a sugar- and calorie-free sparkling water that takes out the heavy mixers without losing bursts of flavor. After being taste-tested and approved by our own staffers (we couldn’t give you a good recommendation without trying it for ourselves, right?), we were quick to grab a few festive recipes from the company. Try one (or all!) and feel free to indulge without worrying about tossing in an extra-intense run as part of your next workout. The second just might establish your holiday party as one of the best - something we're all striving for, right? New for this holiday season comes a limited-edition cognac from the House of Marnier-Lapostolle: Grand Marnier Cherry. Impress your guests with these easy-to-make recipes. Passion Pucker-Up Cocktail Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz tequila
  • 3 oz Cascade Ice Raspberry Black Currant
  • Juice of 1 lime wedge
  • Handful of raspberries
  • Orange wedge, for garnish

Place tequila and sparkling water into a blender over crushed ice. Add juice from a lemon wedge and a handful of raspberries mix and blend until smooth. Garnish with orange wedge and serve.

Love Potion Ingredients

  • 2 oz Cascade Ice Cherry Guava Blueberry
  • 1 oz brandy
  • 1 oz gin

Mix all ingredients together; stir in handful of ice. Wait for drink to chill, then serve in a glass and garnish with fresh cherries. Recipes courtesy of Cascade Ice Water.

Sparkling Cherry & Spice Cocktail Ingredients

  • 2 ½ oz Grand Marnier Cherry
  • 2 oz Chandon Rose sparkling wine (chilled)
  • ½ tsp freshly grated ginger
  • ½ oz fresh lime juice

Muddle the ginger in the bottom of a mixing glass and then add Grand Marnier Cherry, lime juice and ice.  Shake well and strain into a chilled flute.  Top with chilled Chandon Rosé sparkling wine and stir gently.  Garnish with candied ginger on the rim of the flute. Try this recipe, created by Jonathan Pogash of The Cocktail Guru, to prep for 20 guests in one swift whisk.   Sparkling Cherry & Spice Punch Ingredients

  • 1 bottle (750ml) Grand Marnier Cherry
  • 1 bottle Chandon Rosé sparkling wine (alternatively: 1 liter seltzer water)
  • 3/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 5 tsp freshly grated ginger (muddled and strained)

In a large punch bowl (or carafe), mix together ginger juice and Grand Marnier Cherry.  When ready to serve, add plenty of ice to chill and dilute.  Then pour in 1/2 bottle of Chandon Rosé sparkling wine. Ladle into flutes and top with splash of Chandon Rosé sparkling wine.  Garnish rim of each flute with candied ginger. Recipes courtesy of Grand Marnier Cherry.
