    Most of my work outs include lifting heavy weights various ways. That being said, my goals mostly come in numeral form. My goal is to deadlift and back squat over 200 pounds by Thanksgiving! :)

    As a mom of two boys (2 & 4 years old), I have to stay highly motivated to achieve my goals while still taking care of my kiddos.  It’s a fine line to balance working full-time, being a mom, and being a leader in our church community.  All the while however, I have succeeded and managed to get back down to my pre-pregnancy size through healthy eating and working hard.  I hope to inspire others around me that if I can make time….so can they, you just need to make your health a priority.  My goal for fall is to run the Des Moines Marathon, but my ultimate goal is to complete a triathlon.  Not only changing my lifestyle but also having knee surgery this year has made this goal a huge stride in my journey.

    My goal is to continue running at least 3 miles a day. More specifically I would like to also improve my time so that by next spring I will be flying through the races!! As a mother of 2 I believe it’s crucial for me to stay healthy. Improving myself also makes me a better mommy! It’s a win-win!

    I am running my first marathon – Chicago- this Sunday. My fall goals are to recover healthily and ease back into running healthily, and maintain the ability to easily run at least a half marathon through the cold months. I already use a Nike sportband and I would be SO HAPPY to have this watch!!!

    My daughter just got married!! Whoo hooo!! We have been running all summer while planning the wedding. I am heading South so she will be losing her running buddy :( . I think the Nike Sportswatch GPS would be perfect to help her stay motivated. It will be very easy to become unfocused..with all the “newness” in her life. I am personally training for my first 13.1! I am training hard and am focused. I would love nothing more than to cross the finish line with my daughter!!!

    I am a college student with a very heavy course load, so my fitness goals for the fall are to simply get out and get moving. I want to run at least 3 to 4 times a week, for about 30 minutes each day and do core workouts on off days to improve my running and hopefully get rid of my side stitch problem. I plan to do a little longer runs on weekends and hopefully get up to 6 miles. I am not looking to necessarily lose weight. I just would like to tone up and be healthier overall by eating right and running regularly in order to improve my health and stay focused in school.

    I am finally a student, going to school full time. I have been in the Army for a while due to training and other activities it held me back from the things I truly wanted and needed. Throughout my childhood to high school I have been involved in many sport and activities for pure pleasure of being in a competitive environment and feeling the adrenaline rush. I slowly lost people who enjoyed doing the same as I and soon enough I lost motivation to seek it. Now I play women’s football, badminton and golf spread throughout the week. To make sure I am in top shape in doing all of the following sports I condition at the gym while juggling my responsibilities as a student. This watch will be a friend and coach to me on a daily basis. Plus white and gold are two of my favorite colors.

    Calling this month SQUATober. Ive been slacking on my usual running routine since its been hot and humid but there’s no room for excuses now that its my favorite season to go running. Aside from running I’m going to add squats in between runs to give it an extra kick. Every week is going to be a progression of adding 10-20 more squats to the routine. First week is going to be 50 body weights squats. That could be broken down into 10 squat intervals then continuing with the run or doing 25 for the warm up and 25 for cool down. Next week increase the number of squats by 10-20reps. Every week is like a new challenge to become strong

    As a Soldier I must maintain my fitness at all times & ”be fit to fight”  As a Father, I want to show my son that fitness can be as much fun as playing and that at 40 yrs old, I can still hang.  As a man, I want to be better, always working to improve and trying to forgive myself when I fall short.  I’m human and full of mistakes but I’d love to continue to work on improving my fitness for myself, my son and my career!

    My work out goal is to lose 40 pounds. I want to be able to do 50 push ups, 150 squats and 150 crunches nonstop. I don’t want to lose weight for anyone but myself so I can feel happy and beautiful once again. I used to weigh 225 pounds last year and am now down to 180. I am 5’6 and built thick but my weight stops me from doing a lot. I don’t want to lose the weight and stop but rather keep going and be able to hit my goal for a perfect healthy and body.

I want to motivate young women to be healthy not only physically, but mentally.  Society has perverted our minds by telling us we have to be a size ZERO to look good. But I believe that feeling good and being healthy mentally is not about a number! My goal this fall is to touch lives and help others how eat healthy, exercise and be confident in who they are! Let the Fall Season begin!

    Each year I add a piece of excerise equipment, from dumbells to treadmill, yoga mat, just something to keep it fresh. I always renew my magazine suubscription as well. I have always wanted to track better and have installed apps on my iPad , I still fall short, this is an amazing piece that would totally help me go to the next level. As a mother of three and 45 yrs old, I must keep pushing.

    I have always worked out and been a runner since I was 16. I also have a horrible habit of smoking. The past year I switched up my fitness routine and become even more serious about my workouts. My fitness goal for the fall is to quit smoking so that I can improve my running and my health. This would be such an amazing incentive.

    Even though it doesn’t feel like fall yet in AZ, I’m ready to run.  This fall I’m training for my first half marathon.  Time to show my girls what determination, strength and sweat can do!

    Last week I just finished my first half marathon and now my goal is to increase my running speed.  I want to finish a 5k in less than 30 minutes by December and then run another half marathon in May.  I just started running 6 months ago and I am addicted!

    i used a garmin for two years and LOVED it, but have heard great things about the nike. my garmin was stolen about 3 months ago and i would love to have something new and different to track my runs. we are training for a half marathon in november and i really want to break my pr! knowing my pace and distance would help that.

    I am a volunteer for the year at a local Sacramento transitional home for individuals that are homeless and would like to begin their recovery from alcohol and/or drug use.  Every day is a struggle with getting a quality work out in either before the sun comes up (since I have to be at work very early) or after work has already tired me out.  But, I told the residents at the transitional housing that I would train for a half marathon with them coming up in February 2013, so I will have to get some good mileage in soon enough!
