Christina Hendricks Chats with FITNESS
Yesterday we had the pleasure of sitting down with Mad Men star Christina Hendricks in her Manhattan hotel suite to discuss everything from lipstick to that gorgeous pale skin (she’s absolutely stunning and so sweet in person!) to her workout regimen. Hendricks is supporting the Latisse Wishes Challenge, which allows consumers to donate a minimum of $20 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which LATISSE then matches, working toward a goal of donating $500,000. Take a peek at our conversation:

Favorite Find Friday: Kiehl’s Limited Edition Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque
In honor of Earth Day (but extending through the summer), 100 percent of the net proceeds from Kiehl’s Limited Edition Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque ($23) will benefit Waterkeeper Alliance, a charity dedicated to protecting Earth’s water sources. The tubs are decked out in gorgeous labels specially designed by the actors Chloë Sevigny and Michael C. Hall (we’re partial to Michael’s stained glass-esque artwork), and the mask itself contains white clay to purify, oat kernel flour to absorb oil, and aloe to soothe. Do a good deed, get great skin!

Compacts for a Cause
We’re wild for these gorgeous CoverGirl Limited Edition Clean Powder Compacts ($7 each): Each purchase provides a week’s worth of clean drinking water to a child in a developing country, in partnership with the charity Children’s Safe Drinking Water. The compacts, which come in Sensitive, Normal, and Oil Control formulas, are available now at food and drug retailers as long as supplies last, and in Walmart stores starting in June. Do good, look good!

Favorite Find Friday: Aveda Light the Way Candle
This week’s pick falls into the do good, feel good category: 100 percent of the purchase price of Aveda’s Limited Edition Light the Way Candle ($12) goes to the Global Greengrants Fund, which works to supply clean water to people around the world. The Light the Way program has raised a whopping $12 million over the past four years—their goal is to contribute $4 million more this year. And the candle itself isn’t too shabby: The French lavender and sage organically-scented soy wax is housed in a glass made from a reclaimed beverage bottle. Helping someone by buying something beautiful? Now that’s a beautiful thing.
