How to Find the Right Red Lipstick for Your Skin Tone
Answer: This is a toughie -- but actually, skin tone is more important than hair color when considering lipstick shades (and any other makeup for that matter). For the most natural look, aim to match your undertones (yellow or pink). For example, if you have warm, tawny skin, your most flattering shade of red will have an orange or golden base. If you have a fair complexion with cool, rosy undertones, try a blue-based red. When in doubt, choose a rich, deep classic red. "It looks amazingly glamorous on all women," says Napoleon Perdis, Australian makeup artist.
