You had the best summer ever, but now your skin and hair are paying the price and feeling fried. Fortunately you can repair the damage with our easy expert tips plus a slew of amazing new oils (we promise they won't trigger zits or make you look greasy). Kiss buh-bye the beauty bummers caused by sun, salt water, and chlorine so you can face fall looking fresh.

Skin Rehab

Despite slathering on sunscreen as if it were your job these past few months, your complexion looks a little weathered. Breathe easy -- even the most diligent SPF wearers need some post-summer TLC. For your biggest skin problems, try these fast fixes from Francesca Fusco, MD, a dermatologist in New York City.

Uneven Skin Tone

"Add a retinol serum to your regimen. It will increase cell turnover and lighten any freckles and brown spots on your face, the backs of your hands, and your decolletage," Dr. Fusco says, noting that the new and improved OTC versions pack a powerful punch without as much irritation as their predecessors. Her favorites: Philosophy Help Me Retinol Night Treatment ($47, for first-time users and the stronger Skinceuticals Retinol 0.5 ($55, for current retinol fans. "While you're waiting for your spots to fade, conceal them with a tinted mineral powder," says Dr. Fusco, who swears by Colorescience Sunforgettable Mineral Sunscreen Brush SPF 30 ($50,

Clogged Pores

Wearing sunscreen is the best way to protect your skin, but there is one drawback: Layering it on can result in blocked pores. Dr. Fusco's tip is to scrub with an exfoliant twice a day to clear pores and slough dull skin. Look for a formula with synthetic round granules, like Olay Fresh Effects Bead Me Up! Exfoliating Cleanser ($7, drugstores), which is gentle on sensitive skin.

Dull, Parched Complexion

Apply a moisturizer with hyaluronic acid. Each molecule absorbs 10 times its weight in water and pulls the hydration into the skin's deep layers, says Dr. Fusco. Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream ($12, contains this "smart" ingredient as well as vitamin C and mineral pigments to even skin tone. Or use face oil, which contains potent antioxidants, decreases inflammation, and passes through your skin's bilipid layer to help seal in moisture and plump fine lines without leaving your face greasy or causing breakouts. In fact, face oil will actually make your skin less oily. (That's because your sebaceous glands overproduce oil when your skin is dry and decrease production when the oil is replenished.) Massage two drops onto clean skin, wait one minute, then apply sunscreen and foundation as usual. Our current organic-oil obsessions: Josie Maran 100% Pure Argan Oil Light ($48, and Orico London Superico Vitamin Rich Face Oil ($47,

Rough Feet

Wearing flip-flops is tough on your tootsies. "The rubber material some are made of absorbs moisture and dries out your feet," says Donna Perillo, the owner of the Sweet Lily Natural Nail Spa & Boutique in New York City. Her fix: Soak your feet in a basin filled with orange juice for five minutes, then exfoliate using a foot paddle. The alpha hydroxy acids in the juice will soften your skin, and the buffer will whisk away dead cells. Before bed, rub an oil on your heels and sleep in cotton socks; you'll wake up to baby-soft soles. Try Nourish Organic Moroccan Argan Oil ($20, And for glistening legs, mist on Caudalie Divine Oil ($32,
