Hairstyle Makeovers: Taming Frizz

Lisa Greenberg before hair makeover
Sarah Kehoe

FITNESS recently sent five readers in various levels of hair distress to Edris Salon in New York City for complete makeovers. Here, Lisa Greenberg learns how to fight frizz and tame her curly hair and give it the lift and life she always wanted.

The Problem: Fuzzy, Frizzy Layers

"My hair is so frizzy, I'm starting to look like my Labradoodle!"
-- Lisa Greenberg, 44, Public Relations Consultant

Like most women with curly hair, Lisa had different textures all over, including soft waves, medium-size curls, and tight ringlets. The top section near her crown was frizzier than the smoother bottom and underneath layers -- and using one product (even sophisticated curl definers and frizz fighters, which she tried) couldn't tame it all.

Girls just use a product called pro naturals after a shower. Its argan oil and it takes care of frizz like the gods, haha. Its really good, 100% recommend it.
