Sweatproof Summer Beauty Tips
Face and Body
- Depuff eyes with a chilled compress. This causes your blood vessels to constrict, which decreases swelling, says Dr. Bank. (Store eye gel or gel patches in the refrigerator, and use in the a.m. or whenever you feel puffy.)
- Look for "icy" ingredients like aloe vera and menthol. Naturally cool, these substances help boost energy, especially when applied to fatigued legs.
- Soothe sweaty soles. All the nerve endings in your body are connected to your feet, says skincare expert Ling Chan. To chill out from head to toe, soak your peds in cool (not ice-cold) water for about 20 minutes, then smooth cooling gel onto soles.
