Can I Get My Flat Stomach Back After Having Kids?
I have had 3 children and 3 abdominal surgeries. My stomach seems stretchy and my abs seem to be buried:) I have started doing about 45 minutes of cardio a day but I was wondering what specific abs exercises would help my stomach to get back to "normal"? I have heard that just crunches won't help that much. Is there a chance that my stomach will ever be flat again?

Here's what we got from exercise physiologist and fitness expert Dr. Kara Mohr:

"My daughter turns 1 yr old this Saturday - so I know where you are coming from. Post baby body weight does not equal post baby body!! I would suggest increasing the intensity of your cardio workouts, making sure you include intervals (alternating walking with fast walking or sprinting). And be sure your strength training includes combination moves that work multiple muscles including the core (plank rows, push-ups, squat with military press, etc) rather than single muscle groups. Good luck!"

Simple answer is yes! Watch what you eat, eat regulary, low carb (not too low) regular protein and of course exercise. Mix it up with cardio, strength training and of course regular core work. I find the fitball is a great bit of kit for working all youyr muscles especially your core!
