Will eating too much fruit cause me to gain weight?

Eating too much of anything will cause you to gain weight, but it's pretty difficult to do with fruits and veggies. I'd aim for about 10 servings/day of veggies and fruit for optimal health and weight -- use these as your primary form of carbohydrates!
