Moles vs. Freckles
What's the difference between a mole and a freckle?

"Freckles are groups of extra pigment on the skin's surface; moles are deeper collections of pigment cells," says FITNESS advisory board member Elissa J. Lunder, M.D. "Though moles are more likely to turn cancerous, always check both for changes in size, border, color and symmetry."

You should get a mole checked out if it is biggger than a pencil eraser, funnily shaped, changing colors, or weird texture. If you have a black permanent skin pigment dot that doesnt stand out is it a freckle, a mole, or something else
