I am a tennis player, and a trainer told me that I have a small tear in my meniscus. She told me that it would heal in 1-12 months. Also that I could still exercise and play tennis as long as I could take the pain. I was wondering are there any natural ways to heal a meniscus on your own at home other than icing it?
There are specific knee strengthening exercise such as "quad sets" and core work that will help. Also, you need to eat a well-balanced diet and be sure that you are getting good sources of protein like egg whites and lean meats.
