How do I know if my cereal is healthy?

There are a few rules I try to keep when choosing a cereal. I like to make sure that: 1) First ingredient is a WHOLE GRAIN. 2) Dietary Fiber is at least 5gm or more. 3) Sugar is less than 10gm. 4) The ingredient label is no longer than 10-12 ingredients. My favorite brand of cold cereal is Fiber One. They have great flavor and simple ingredients. Of course, the best cereal for your heart is delicious, hearty oatmeal. Happy breakfasting!
