How many calories can I cut from an already relatively healthy diet to lose weight?

I'm 5'10" 153 lbs. I'd like to lose 10 lbs and have no idea how many calories I should be eating. Since I'm already 'slim' (size 8) and eat relatively healthy, I don't know how many calories I should really cut. Breakfast and lunch are very low in cals, but dinner is where I eat whatever. How many cals should I be eating to lose weight? Also, I just started working out 5 days a week vs. none before.

There are a lot of factors in the calorie equation - what type of training are you doing? What's the intensity? In general it's suggested that for weight loss people eat 1200-1500 calories, but then we also have to focus on the quality of the calories. I'd shift my focus to that a lot and balance out those meals you do eat more than it sounds like you do -- pay closer attention to dinner too, not just the other.
