Eating less than 1500 calories a day is restrictive. Stick with that number at minimum and add exercise. Restricting is dieting which will lead to gaining weight back. DIETS DON'T WORK. Focus on eating foods you like in moderation, listening to your hunger fullness signals, and respecting your body as it is now. I recommend the book Intuitive Eating by Evelyn Tribole and Elyse Resch as a way to model a healthy lifestyle and reach your healthy natural weight.
